The fruit of service is peace.

The potentialities of sport make it an important instrument for the overall development of the person, and a useful factor for the construction of a more human society.

2024-25 CYO MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION FORM
The St. Anselm CYO provides students in 4th through 8th grade who are registered members of our parish with an opportunity to grow spiritually, athletically, and socially by joining our sports teams, attending CYO Masses, participating in service projects, and attending the CYO dances and trips throughout the year. (Students DO NOT have to play sports to join CYO.)
As members of CYO, students can participate in the many sports we offer, including volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball, and track and field. There are also opportunities for students to join regional CYO teams in cross country and swimming – which are both available for younger children too.
CYO is much more than sports – we sponsor three service projects each year; help with setup, clean-up, and volunteering for parish and school events; and choose three Sunday Masses when our students participate in the Mass and meet in the hall afterward for refreshments. Our first service project is held in October when we collect socks to be donated to the Mother of Mercy House in Kensington. We also hold a winter dance, Mother/Son and Father/Daughter dances, and an end-of-the-year dance for CYO members, in addition to three trips throughout the year: Shady Brook Farms for Fall Fest; a Dorney Park trip during the last week of school; and either a snowtubing or bowling trip in the winter (TBD).
Students in 3rd and 4th grade who are registered in the parish also have the opportunity to participate in cadet basketball and other sports. The regional cross country and swim teams also start at younger ages.
Please like and follow our Facebook page here – to find out when it’s time to sign up for certain sports and be informed about upcoming events. We will also inform parents about sports signups and events through school and CCD emails.
